1x1.im Terms of Service

1. Acceptance

By creating or using a 1x1 number on 1x1.im, you enter a binding agreement with the service operator.

If you do not accept these Terms in full, do not use the service.

2. Eligibility

You must be at least 18 years old to register or use 1x1.im.

You are responsible for ensuring that use of the service is lawful in your jurisdiction.

3. Anonymous service

1x1.im is an anonymous end-to-end encrypted messenger. The operator does not collect legal names, phone numbers, email addresses, government IDs, or other personal data that would identify you in the real world.

The service does not know your IP address in a form tied to your identity, does not maintain activity logs about you, and cannot establish who you are by any criterion available to the operator.

We do not transfer personal data or user activity logs to third parties and cannot disclose your privacy or identify you to others on that basis. For the operator, each client is anonymous.

4. The service

Communication is designed for direct client-to-client paths where the network allows it. The service is provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis at the functional level offered at the time of use.

Features and availability may change without prior notice as the product evolves.

• No guarantee of uninterrupted access, delivery times, or compatibility with every device or network.
• Planned maintenance, updates, and operational incidents may affect availability.

5. Fair use

You agree to use 1x1.im lawfully and in good faith. You must not abuse registration, messaging, calling, or discovery systems.

• No spam, automated mass registration, or any attempt to bypass service limits or protections.
• No harassment, threats, exploitation, or distribution of unlawful content.
• No attempts to compromise servers, other users' devices, or cryptographic protections.
• No impersonation of the 1x1 team or misrepresentation of official status.

6. Your 1x1 number and keys

Your 1x1 number and cryptographic keys are created and controlled on your device. Message content is encrypted client-side; the operator does not hold your seed phrase or decryption keys.

You are solely responsible for safeguarding your recovery phrase and device access.

7. Enforcement

The operator may throttle, suspend, or block access — including a 1x1 number — when abuse, fraud, or security risk is detected, subject to operational policy.

Enforcement actions aim to protect the network and other users; they do not constitute an admission of liability.

8. Disclaimer and limitation of liability

To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, you use 1x1.im at your own risk.

The operator disclaims all warranties, express or implied, including fitness for a particular purpose and non-infringement.

You waive any claims against the operator arising from use of the service, including loss of messages, contacts, access, profits, or data — except where waiver is prohibited by law.

Where liability cannot be excluded, it is limited to the minimum amount required by applicable law.

9. Changes

These Terms may be updated. Material changes will be reflected in the in-app document with a revised effective date.

Continued use after an update constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.
